Agata Daraškaitė
Violin

Agata's love for the sound-worlds created by gut strings and the immense string chamber music repertoire led to creating a string quartet (Consone Quartet), exploring the classical and romantic repertoire on gut strings. The group are currently BBC's New Generation Artists, Fellows of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust, Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and are enjoying a busy performing schedule across the UK.

From 2013 to 2019 Agata was a member of the Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra, led by Gidon Kremer, with which she extensively toured Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and North and South Americas, playing in some of the world’s most prestigious halls.
