Alongside the artistic performances of the nominees for the Grand Music Award, special guests will also take the stage at the concert! We are delighted that the ceremony will be honored by the world-renowned Gidon Kremer, performing the wonderfully beautiful and audience-beloved composition “Blooming Jasmine”, written by the violinist’s former school-day close friend, Georgs Pelēcis, the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

From the world of string instruments we will also meet the award nominee, cellist Magdalena Ceple, who has chosen a miniature by the Hungarian genius György Kurtág, who has just celebrated his 100th birthday.
