Georgs Pelēcis and Gidon Kremer studied together at the Emīls Dārziņš Music School in Riga and have been good friends ever since. We are grateful that we are also a part of this friendship as an orchestra and often enjoy performing scores by the wonderful composer.

All of my creative inspiration comes from music, from euphony that acts as an ideal reflection or embodiment of a homeland.
