SNOW SYMPHONY in Heerlen 2
Program

SNOW SYMPHONY

The show is a result of cooperation of the two masters, Slava Polunin and Gidon Kremer, forming a uniquely vibrant synthesis of both geniuses. Slava Polunin’s art has gone far beyond the traditional definition of “circus arts” while Gidon Kremer is also not limiting himself to the sole role of a musician. This joint performance is a very special experience for the audience – it conveys an emotionally-charged image accompanied by live music performance, especially when Kremerata Baltica orchestra members “come alive” in the show as characters.

The audience will have the rare opportunity to experience this original musical spectacle, in which Gidon Kremer and Slava Polunin, together with their respective artists – clowns and Kremerata Baltica musicians – will unite the spirit of their distinctive art forms by having the orchestra inhabit and simultaneously interact in the abstract world of Slava’s SNOWSHOW.
